A couple weeks ago we went to Port Aransas.
Lila could not wait to get to the beach, and here is what she did when we finally got there

On Tuesday, the hurricane was rolling in. The waves were high for Texas, and we left just as the rain was starting
The following are a couple pictures from the condo we stayed in. I know that the people who own these condos don't want to put nice things there because of the wear and tear. This was a clean, spacious condo (with plenty of towels, YEAH!), but the decorating was comical.
This was the wall behind the table in the dining area. There were 2 mauve double-knit polyester curtains hung in the middle of the wall. We decided that these people must like curtains because they were hung randomly in more than one place. There were also olive green velvet curtains hung in the living room.
This was our bedroom. Interesting, huh? So that is one red floor length curtain, which is not wide enough to cover the window, and then there was a piece of brown chiffon fabric (think Jennifer's bridesmaids dresses) folded and hung over the curtain rod.
