Memorial Day Weekend started with a graduation bright and early on Friday morning. Natalie graduated with a BBA from UT. We are very proud of her, and are very thankful that she is fortunate enough to already have a job.
On Saturday afternoon, we headed to Fort Worth for Alex's 11th Birthday Party. His party was at a super-duper inflatable wonderland, and it was a lot of fun and pretty exhausting. I can't believe Alex is already 11. It is hard to believe that the little boy with the thick Texas accent and rambling stories is growing up. Alex is a bright, polite young man and we are very proud of him.
On Sunday, Shawn, Jai, Abbi and Alex went to play golf, and then we cooked out. The kids had such a good time on the trampoline. Lila became a jumping maniac this past weekend; first, at the inflatable jumping place, and then the trampoline.
On Monday we went to the zoo. We really enjoyed it. It is a really nice zoo...It is a great size, and is really shaded. I thought the giraffes were really pretty.
