Happy Birthday, America!

Around these parts, the 4th of July is a pretty big deal (as it should be).  Our neighborhood does a fireworks show on the 3rd.  We usually walk down to the cul-de-sac at the end of the neighborhood where we can get a view.
The Eatons came early and we did a little swimming before the fireworks, and then went over to the Cashes.
On the 4th, some of our great neighbors organize a block party every year, complete with water slide, snow cones and bike parade.
Lila decorated her own bike.  It wasn't quite as elaborate or flashy as some of the others, but she did it all herself.  We printed out a coloring page for the wheels, and she wrapped her handle bars with crepe paper and embellished with foil star stickers.
